VMAQ-4 EA-6A 151597 folds its wings at NAS Whidbey Island Wa in May 1989. This reserve unit would transition to EA-6Bs a year later and be activated into the Regulars.
Shooting Harriers was always tough as the dark paint didn't stand out except in good lighting conditions. This is VMA-513 AV-8A 158968 at Chase Field on 26 Jan 1980. It would be lost on 26 Jan 1982 at Yuma while trying to execute a vertical landing.
AV-8B 162736 from VMA-331 at Whiteman AFB MO on 16 Aug 1987; it would crash with the RAG, VMAT-203, on 18 Sep 1995.

VMFP-3, based out of El Toro, was the Corps' last RF-4B squadron. This is RF-4B RF22 (153106) at Key West on 4 May 1981.
